History

My career as a makeup artist started at NYC's Bergdorf Goodman, where I worked at the cult favorite Prescriptives makeup counter. After eight years there, I launched SB Beauty.

I'm SB Beauty founder Sharon Becker, and I'm a hair and makeup artist specializing in commercial clients, brides, wedding parties. My style is fresh, polished, and contemporary. I offer uptown experience and a downtown vibe: With warmth, professionalism, and humor, I make sure the pre-wedding trial and bridal suite experiences run smoothly--but are still a lot of fun. My beauty tool kit includes a variety of luxury products from brands such as Nars, Smashbox, and Kevyn Aucoin, as well as select organic brands. Airbrush makeup services are available. I also travel nationally and internationally for photo shoots, weddings and events. For larger shoots or events, I personally lead my team of experienced hair and makeup professionals. Elopement Packages I love to work with out-of-town and international brides, and every year I do hair and makeup for dozens of women who are in town for the ultimate romantic NYC adventure: a wedding! With the SB Beauty elopement package, we'll be in contact frequently beforehand, and when you arrive, I'll come to you to ensure you and your party all look your best for this special occasion.
