Founded in 1966, Oswego County Opportunities, also known as OCO, is a private, nonprofit human service agency that supports communities throughout Oswego County, N.Y. It provides medical, education, nutrition, residential, transportation and counseling services. The agency also offers health care services for individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Oswego County Opportunities provides assistance for homeless individuals and meals for senior citizens. It also offers employment, mentoring and after school services. The agency additionally offers case management, chemical dependence and mental health services. Oswego County Opportunities is a member of the Greater Oswego County United Way Agency. Located in Fulton, N.Y., the agency operates more than five divisions and supports over 40 programs.
