Northern Westchester Hospital, also known as NWH, is a 230-plus-bed facility that offers a range of health and nursing care services. The hospital has been serving the residents of northern Westchester and Putnam and southern Dutchess counties in New York since 1916. It is a nonprofit organization that provides a smoke-free environment. The hospital maintains an emergency department and employs a staff of more than 1,200 people. Northern Westchester Hospital administers a community health outreach program. The hospital offers rehabilitative, behavioral health care and cardiovascular services. It conducts invasive surgeries and maintains the Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center. Northern Westchester Hospital is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
