Dr. Vladimir Sheynzon is a board-certified radiologist with specialization in vascular and interventional radiology. He is an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Sheynzon received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/New Jersey Medical School. He completed his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital/Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He subsequently joined the division of vascular and interventional radiology at the State University of New York, Stony Brook Health Sciences Center as assistant professor of clinical radiology. Dr. Sheynzon joined the faculty in the Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 2009. Dr. Sheynzon is actively involved in teaching of the radiology residents and interventional radiology fellows at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Healthcare Industry Association at Columbia Business School.

Stephen P. Reis, MD

Dr. Stephen Reis is a board-certified radiologist with specialization in vascular and interventional radiology. He is the chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology and an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Reis’ clinical practice focuses on the minimally invasive treatment of tumors of the kidney, liver, and lung as well as metastatic tumors of the liver and lung, using percutaneous (through the skin) ablation and embolization. He is an expert in all interventional aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment from percutaneous biopsy to vascular access placement. In addition to cancer therapy, Dr. Reis brings expertise in the treatment of pelvic pain related to fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome. He also works in conjunction with urologists in the treatment of male infertility and urinary obstruction. The management of lower extremity venous insufficiency and maintenance of dialysis access rounds out his practice. Dr Reis is known in the region as an expert in selective venous sampling. He works closely with the physicians at Columbia's Adrenal Center in the diagnosis of primary hyperaldosteronism. Dr. Reis completed his medical school training at New York Medical College and his internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan. His post-graduate training includes a diagnostic radiology residency at Westchester Medical Center and a vascular-interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas—Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He remained on faculty at UT—Southwestern until he was recruited by Columbia University Irving Medical Center for his expertise in cancer care. Dr. Raghuram “Ram” Posham is a board certified vascular and interventional radiologist in the Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is an assistant professor of radiology and an attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Posham is actively involved in academic research and has made significant contributions to the field of interventional radiology. His research interests encompass trans-radial arterial access, peripheral arterial disease interventions, and complex inferior vena cava filter retrieval techniques. Through numerous peer-reviewed articles in prestigious medical journals, he has enhanced the understanding and practice of interventional radiology, earning recognition for his dedication to advancing medical knowledge. His contributions to the medical community have been recognized with various honors, including the Editor's Award for Outstanding Clinical Research at the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting and the Burton Drayer Prize in Radiology and Imaging from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Posham served as chief resident in the Integrated Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital.
