New Destiny Housing Corporation is a nonprofit organization based in New York City, founded in 1994, that focuses on providing housing and support services to vulnerable homeless populations, particularly survivors of domestic violence and their children. As the only organization in NYC dedicated to this cause, New Destiny is committed to increasing permanent housing options through the development of affordable housing and improving access to existing housing resources. With 11 supportive housing projects offering 407 units specifically for domestic violence survivors, New Destiny is making a significant impact in the community. Nearly 100% of those housed through their programs remain violence-free, illustrating the effectiveness of their approach in addressing both homelessness and the challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence.
