From Rochester to Syracuse, the ride was about 2-1/2 hours. A few more passengers boarded the train. We were in the Syracuse station about 10 minutes before departing.

This is a good railway service. It's punctual, clean including the toilets. A decent buffet car and of course you can reserve your seats as it can become quite full. Good value for money....
