Edgewater, NJ's River Thai Restaurant opened in 2008 as a passion project for Chef and Owner Win Tun. Win developed his skills as a culinary wizard in Thailand, working under legendary Chef Song Pon at Bangkok's Misanee restaurant. Win yearned to bring his expertise to the States, and in 1990 took over as Chef for the well known Brooklyn restaurant Tuk Tuk. From there Win ran the kitchen for Manhattan's popular Cafetasia, as well as Blue Chili. Besides preparing and serving world class Thai food, Chef Win loves to interact with customers. The only thing that matches the cuisine at River Thai is the customer service. Whether you eat in, get it to go, or get delivery, River Thai will make sure to satisfy you. Chef Win and his kitchen team have 3 goals: Great Food, Great Service, and a Great Time!
