History
Matthew has been a dedicated physical therapist for the past 8 years. His journey to Pacrav Physical Therapy started as an undergraduate at the University of Delaware where he earned a degrees in biological sciences in 2003. He then continued his education and earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Drexel University in 2008. He started his career treating patients in the Bay Area and found himself consistently being drawn back to the Lake Tahoe Area. With the expanding population, urban atmosphere, and access to the full Sierras, Matthew relocated to Reno, NV to bring his expertise and fulfill his goal of self-employment. When not in the clinic, Matthew can be found mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and skiing throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountain ranges. He was even lucky enough to compete internationally on the Freeskiing World Tour in the United States, Canada, France, and New Zealand.
Specialties
Matthew has embarked on his post-graduate training by completing his specialized training in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. This program focused on the most current evidence-based physical therapy techniques with an emphasis on manual therapy. Matthew is one of eight fellowship-accredited physical therapist in the state of Nevada and one of only three in the Northern Nevada/Lake Tahoe area. Matthew's additional professional accomplishments include presenting at national and local physical therapy conferences and being a teaching assistant in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship.
