Evangel University

Evangel University is a private, coeducational Christian university drawing more than 2,000 students from the United States and worldwide. The university offers more than 80 programs through several academic departments. The programs include courses in biblical studies, accounting, biology, chemistry, English, history, international and multicultural studies, journalism, management, marketing, mathematics, psychology, public relations, social science and sociology. The university s campus is spread over an area of more than 80 acres, and it also offers a variety of varsity sport programs. The sports activities include football, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, golf, track and cheerleading. Other activities include intercollegiate speech teams, campus media, honor societies, traveling music ensembles and student government. Evangel University is located in Springfield, Missouri.
