I've been wanting to just go, sit and enjoy Waffle House for a while and we did just that. We sat at the counter (clean) and I was able to observe how this place is ran with so much order, really...

The first Waffle House restaurant was opened on Labor Day in 1955 in Avondale Estates, Ga. Since then, it has grown into a chain of more than 1,500 company and franchise-owned casual restaurants in over 25 U.S. states. It serves a variety of waffles, steaks, omelets, hamburgers, country ham, pork chops and grits. The restaurant serves specialty dishes, such as Bert's chili, Walt s soup, Alice s iced tea and Lib's patty melt. It offers hash browns in eight different ways. Waffle House serves more than 3 million pounds of grits each year and over 10,000 T-bone steaks each day. Apart from serving food, the restaurant supports various health and human service organizations, youth and education programs, and disadvantage and other civic causes. It conducts in-house events and programs, such as The Great Miller Lite Chili Cook-off and the Waffle House World Waffle Eating Championship.

I like this Waffle House a lot. It's my go to place for some food to actually eat after I have dined at Weidman's here in Meridian. That's a whole other story. My review for them is in jail....

By far the best and cleanest waffle house i've ever eaten in. Friendly staff. And the food was very good. I forgot to take a picture of food, as I was so hungry and it was soo good!

I have eaten at a dozens of Waffle House restaurants. This one by far is top 2 in my book. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. The sweat tea is spot on! Not to sweat and very good.

Amazing food and cook was very entertaining felt like a hibachi breakfast waitress was nice and fast definitely had there A game on
