Sleeping Bear Resort sits on 450 of lake frontage on an undeveloped "no wake" lake. Guests at the resort have free usage of the beach, kayaks, canoes, fishing boats and stand up paddle boards. There is also a large water trampoline.Sleeping Bear Resort is a popular family gathering destination. It can accommodate groups of up to 46 people. The resort is centrally located half way between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Dirty, dirty rooms. Nice layout for families, but a bit run down with a very healthy hornet population right where you enter the water. Lake is not crystal clear, but there are plenty of boats....
