Kruse & Muer on Main is a casual dining restaurant that was opened in 1990. It displays in its entrance way, a distinctive, 10-foot wooden carving of two Englishmen, which is relocated from the historic Brass Rail restaurant in Detroit. The restaurant features a black marble bar, natural brick walls, stained mahogany woodwork and four dining rooms that can accomodate up to 150 people. Its menu includes a selection of Kruse and Muer signature items, such as oven-baked breads and pasta, as well as specialty lunch salads and sandwiches. Additionally, the restaurant sells gift certificates in several denominations and organizes a variety of events throughout the year. It also operates a distinguished guest dining club that provides its members with discounts and special privileges. The restaurant is a part of Kruse & Muer Restaurants, which owns and operates more than five restaurants in southeastern Michigan. Kruse & Muer on Main is located in Rochester, Mich.
