Good food and great service. Brisket was tasty and good portions. Meat loaf was good as well. Happy hour is 3-6.

Flat River Grill is a neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of downtown Lowell and is comprised of two unique spaces–the dining room, housed within the first floor of the Bergin building (est. 1931), and a four-season patio, which is situated alongside the Flat River and the historic Lowell Showboat. We serve wood-fired feasts with an emphasis on classic American cuisine. The menu is highlighted by line-caught fish, grass-fed beef, wood-fired pizza and an impressive variety of wood-grilled burgers. The space is comfortable, the service is warm and the people are like family. A special bond exists between our staff and the Lowell community.

Overpriced, and our walleye fish was overdone. I don't mind spending more money for good food, but the three of the four of us were disappointed. It'll be a while before we go back.
