Founded in 1831, Mount Auburn Cemetery is located in Cambridge, Mass. The cemetery offers burial and commemoration services, such as traditional earth burial for caskets and cremated remains, indoor and outdoor niches for cremated remains and outdoor garden crypts for caskets and urns. It also offers a range of funeral and chapel services, as well as special memorial facilities for the deceased. The cemetery s Bigelow Chapel has a seating capacity of more than 75 people. Mount Auburn Cemetery also serves a venue for public educational and interpretive programs, public tours and lectures. It performs more than 900 cremations annually and is spread in over 175 acres of land. Mount Auburn Cemetery has been designated as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior.

By far, the most beautiful cemetery I've ever been to! It's such a peaceful place for a quiet stroll. The tower provides excellent views of Boston and the surrounding area.

A beautiful place. Very well kept and peaceful! Took a stroll and went up the Washington tower. There was a 360 view of trees and the Boston skyline. During fall the foliage is gorgeous!
