St. Patrick's Catholic School is a small and nurturing elementary school with grades up to eighth grade. Typical class size is 24 students per class.The curriculum is prescribed by the Archdiocese of Washington and the Maryland Department of Education requirements.

Classes focus on religion, reading, science, math, language arts, art, music, physical education, technology, library, handwriting and Spanish.

The school participates in the Catholic Youth Organization. The Parish offers instructional leagues in soccer and basketball for kindergarten through third grade students.

St. Joan of Arc School

The St. Joan of Arc Catholic School provides kindergarten through 8th grade co-ed education in affiliation with the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church parish. Both the school and church fall under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The school offers extended care programs and after-school activities such as reading and running clubs, basketball and bowling, as well as chorus and handbells. The middle schoolers produce a student newspaper. Class sizes average 21 students.

Atholton Adventist Academy

Atholton Adventist School is a private co-ed school that is affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist movement. The school sits in an excluded area off Martin Road. It has 184 students with a teacher-student ration of 1 to 12. Each year the school holds several festive well-attended events, such as a wreath and Christmas tree sale that are open to the community.
