The Northeast Performing Arts Group (NEPAG) is a culturally based arts and education program in Washington, D.C. that has been transforming the lives of at-risk inner-city youth for over 44 years. Through performing and visual arts, NEPAG provides a safe space for youth in the Northeast Southeast corridors of the city to develop their creative talents and learn valuable lessons of discipline, commitment, and team motivation. NEPAG offers professional training in various dance styles, vocal and drama instruction, as well as academic support services and life skills training. With a mission to offer constructive alternatives to street life, NEPAG has trained over 9,000 youth and helped more than 400 enroll in college.
