You can travel by ferry using this service. They offer a large parking garage for your car. Very clean wharf area with several shops and restaurants while you wait for a water taxi.

There are many ferry options. We did the mail run which delivers all the mail to the local islands. The price was $21 and $17.50 for disabled ticket. We took the 10am ferry and got back at 12:30....
