Columbia Steak House has been in business since 1946, which makes it one of the oldest restaurants in central Kentucky. With two locations in Lexington, Ky., Columbia's is famous for its Nighthawk special, which includes an eight-ounce tenderloin smothered in garlic butter and served with a baked potato, salad and homemade rolls with honey butter. Both Columbia Steak House restaurants offer a full-service bar and a menu of steaks, chicken, seafood items and salads. Columbia Steak Express opened in 1994 and serves the same menu for carryout orders, or for a limited delivery area. Offering catering services, all Columbia Steak House locations are open for lunch and dinner.
