Simmons, Terry MD

Board certified in family medicine, LeAnne DeTar Newbert, M.D., has a rich history of caring for patients in Bonner Springs, Basehor and surrounding communities.She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School Medicine and went on to complete her residency at the University of Kansas Department of Family Medicine, as well as a fellowship in Chapel Hill, N.C.Medicine was a calling for Dr. DeTar Newbert who has assembled medical teams for missions through the world. She also serves as a lay pastor at the First Christian Church in Bonner Springs.

Dr. Simmons earned his medical degree from the University of Health Services, Bethesda, Md. He performed a residency in family practice with Dewitt Army Community Hospital, Fort Belvoir, Va. He has practiced in Wyandotte County for 10 years.
