Havencroft Elementary School, established in 1972, provides learning opportunities to more than 320 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, music, art and physical education. It offers Title I reading and math, extended care, and before- and after-school care programs. In addition, the school s extended learning program includes several before- and after-school academic sessions that provide more time for students to learn critical reading and math skills. It has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors a variety of events, such as movie nights, fun fairs, auctions and ticket sales. Located in Olathe, Kan., Havencroft Elementary School is a part of Olathe School District USD 233, which administers elementary, junior high and senior high schools.
