Fishers Junior High School

Fishers Junior High School enrolls more than 1,000 students in grades seven and eight and is located in Fishers, Ind. The school provides academic programs in English, mathematics, social studies and science. The school building includes computer labs, specialized science, art, technology education classrooms, family and consumer science laboratories, vocal and instrumental music rooms, gymnasiums and a weight training facility. Its advisory program include character education lessons, study skills, organizational skills, test taking skills, silent sustained reading, career study and high school planning for eighth graders. Its guidance department offers services, such as personal and group counseling and career counseling for students, communication link between parents and teachers.
