Established in 1956, the Faith Mission of Elkhart is a nonprofit, Christian social service agency that offers a range of support services for underserved and disadvantaged people. It receives donations from several foundations, fraternal organizations, corporations and churches. The agency conducts various in-house programs that focus on the development of job skills. The Faith Mission of Elkhart also provides marriage counseling and anger management services. In addition, it trains individuals in the areas of money management, improved nutrition and personal hygiene.
