The Factory Theater

Since 1994 The Factory Theater has been devoted to crafting original plays, forged and assembled by our shameless ensemble. Every show produced by The Factory is a world-premiere, aiming to entertain the masses with an accessible blue collar, sometimes trashy, usually funny (but not always), genre-based aesthetic. When we're not crafting, assembling or forging stuff, we rent our 75-seat black-box theater to other illustrious Chicago theatre artists such as Strawder Theatre, Babes With Blades, Top Note Academy - and more. The Factory is committed to producing live content that entertains and delights, from full-length plays to variety shows to record launches.
