Spoon River College

Spoon River College is a community institute that serves more than 4,000 credit students and provides over 30 career and technical programs. The college offers associate degree programs in English, health science, history, mathematics, political science, physical education, psychology and agriculture. It also provides certificate programs in computer networking, desktop publishing, machine tool operations, medical coding, practical nursing, Web design and welding. Spoon River College offers various student services that include career and technical programs, counseling, orientation, tutoring and transportation. The college provides a variety of activities that include athletics, drama, literary magazine, student senate and peer ambassador program. It additionally offers various programs in continuing education, and business and industry training. The college also provides scholarship and financial aid to students. Spoon River College is located in Macomb, Ill.
