S.K.Y. is a contemporary American restaurant in Chicago, redefined by Chef Stephen Gillanders, who draws inspiration from his global culinary experiences. Originally located in the vibrant Pilsen neighborhood, S.K.Y. will temporarily close on March 19, 2025, to prepare for its reopening in the historic Belden-Stratford building in Lincoln Park in Summer 2025.
The restaurant is named after Gillanders' wife, Seon Kyung Yuk, reflecting the couple's journey as they transitioned from Los Angeles to establish their culinary home in Chicago. After touring numerous locations, they found the ideal site for S.K.Y. in Pilsen, where they have built a strong community over the past eight years.
