Mattresses are built in-house at the Quality Sleep Shop, which has served both La Grange and Brookfield for more than 40 years. Customers can choose from "Cindra," "Evergreen" and "Leona" models in the showroom, and work out delivery details while watching the action in the workroom through a display window. Owner Tim Masters has worked with the business since high school, and eventually took over for founder Robert Brixie. The staff is small, but the service is comprehensive -- the company even takes away old mattresses at no additional charge.
