To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection.

These cakes are delicious. I love the strawberry cake and the carrot cake. The flavor is strong but doesn't taste fake and the cakes are soft.

We already know everything in NBC is delicious, but I want to give five stars to the service. I went in for a birthday Bundt cake and lost the email to confirm. And Camille was very sweet about it...

I had NBC Lincoln Park cater my wedding cake & I highly recommend them!! The guests LOVED the cake and I was impressed with the perfect presentation of the tiered cake! We aren't big frosting...

I was in town from Cleveland and Omg I purchased custard eclairs and they were out of this world. I wish now I would have bought more different delicious treats.
