History
It was started by a small group of people who loved theater and wanted to share that love with the community in which they lived. It started with shows in various venues until 2000 when the old movie theater in the Odd Fellows building in Waterloo, IL became available for rent. MASC rented the theater, tore down the movie screen and enlarged the stage. MASC started out by only doing shows every few months on Friday and Saturday evenings on two weekends. As the shows became more popular, Sunday afternoon matinees were added to the weekend performances. For the past several years MASC has offered a summer acting camp for Jr. High and High School students.
