After 18 years as a farm manager for local banks, Worrell Land Services founder and managing broker, Allan Worrell, exercised his entrepreneurial spirit and started the company in the spare bedroom of his home when his son, and now business partner, Luke Worrell was only 12 years old. Allan had a vision for bringing additional accessibility and responsiveness to the local ag investment community. As the company has diversified into rural real estate, auction and appraisal services over the years, the same commitment to operating differently with the utmost integrity and respect for its clients remains.

IL Corn is made up of two farmer-led organizations that serve corn farmers in Illinois: IL Corn Growers Association (ICGA) and IL Corn Marketing Board (ICMB). ICGA represents the interests of Illinois corn farmers in Washington, DC and Springfield, IL, while ICMB is focused on growing demand, creating new markets, and fostering understand of corn farmers and the corn industry. Through these two organizations, IL Corn seeks to position corn farmers to create and capture profit opportunities, preserve their independence, and prosper for generations.
