Incorporated in 1989, DayOneNetwork is a private, nonprofit, community-based agency that provides advocacy services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. It serves individuals in Kane, Kendall and Cook counties in Illinois. The agency offers screening, eligibility determination, plan development, community education, assessment and evaluation, and information and referral services. DayOneNetwork supports the families of infants and toddlers who have developmental concerns. It also offers active treatments for seniors in nursing facilities, as well as supports community awareness and education. The agency is funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services and is a member of the United Way. DayOneNetwork is accredited with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. It administers the Bogard Service Coordination program, which includes speech and occupational therapies and skills building services.
