That was the beginning of the end of the Mom and Pop stores in Shelbyville. Pana closed the Walmart there and built on the edge of town at Shelbyville. That is progress or maybe not.

the county market here in Pana,IL is very good.....asst mgr Greg & butcher Steve are very friendly & helpful......prices are still a bit high but with coupons & sales we can handle it......great...
