It takes three ingredients to make the perfect Lucy's New York Style Pizza; Brian, Tim, and Geoff. These three guys set out on a quest to learn the secrets that made pies from the famous pizzerias of New York, Boston, and Connecticut so distinctively delicious. What they discovered was that their favorite pizzerias had something in common: a traditional, Italian high temperature oven. The 600 degree temperatures of the stone ovens produced thin crusts that were crisp, airy, and slightly chewy. They also learned that when the pies ingredients were of the highest quality and freshness, those hot stones melded together the flavors just right, for a taste that was nothing short of perfection. Lucy's gets their name from a friends family pet. Lucy was a New England Bulldog and was loved by everyone she met. When Rich introduced the New York flare we asked him what we could do for him. His reply was to let him name it. His choice had a great New York zing to it. Lucy's!!
