Established in 1978, the University of the Nations was formerly known as the Pacific and Asia Christian University. It enrolls more than 1,300 students in a year and operates various colleges, including the college of the arts, college of christian ministries, college of communication and the college of humanities and international studies. It offers associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs. Its academic courses include Biblical studies, communication, counseling and health care, humanities and international studies and science and technology. It provides extracurricular programs, including field assignments and internships. Its financial department offers financial assistance according to the students and that covers tuition, room and board fees. It additionally provides primary health care training programs that address the health needs of individuals, their families and communities. University of the Nations is located in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
