Oneloa Bay Beach, also known as Ironwoods Beach, is a secluded and often deserted white-sand beach located on the northwest side of Maui. Backed by resort villas and golf greens, this wide sandy beach offers a serene and uncrowded atmosphere. The best area for swimming is at the left west end of the beach, while the right east end and middle portion of the beach have a rocky ocean bottom, making entering the water difficult. On calm days, snorkeling can be enjoyed, especially at the west end of the beach, but caution is advised as rip currents can occur when the surf is up.
With occasional strong currents and windy conditions, Oneloa Bay Beach is a popular spot for bodyboarding, although it may not be suitable for novice bodyboarders. The beach can be accessed via a footpath from the parking lot on Ironwood Lane or through a trail from nearby Kapalua Bay. Offering stunning ocean views and a tranquil setting, Oneloa Bay Beach is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful beach experience on Maui.

Beautiful spot but too rocky to swim comfortably. Nice walking and breathtaking views. Shower is available, parking limited.
Ants ! Tons of Ants everywhere except the wet sand. Not sure if they are seasonal but it explained why the beach was deserted. Otherwise the water was nice.
