Founded in 1971, Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated, also known as HEPA, provides a range of emergency medical care services. It is an independent, democratic and physician-owned group consisting of board-certified physicians. The facility, also known as HEPA, has partnerships with the Castle Medical Center, Hilo Medical Center, North Hawaii Community Hospital and Wahiawa General Hospital.
