Sevananda Natural Foods Market is one of the largest natural foods cooperatives in the southeastern United States. Incorporated in 1974 as a not-for-profit corporation, the company provides fresh, local, organic produce, natural foods, vitamins and supplements, as well as and a large selection of bulk herbs and spices. In addition, Sevananda Natural Foods Market provides earth-friendly household and pet products, freshly prepared foods, such as nutritious baked goods, soups, sandwiches, entrees and salads. The consumer-owned cooperative has 3,000 members and gives preference to local suppliers, producers and growers. It excludes products that contain artificial chemicals, refined sugar and genetically engineered or irradiated foods.
