Janet Gerard, MD - Closed

Dr. Gerard earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in, New York She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from State University of New York in Oneonta and subsequently became a registered dietitian after successful completion of an internship at Emory University. Dr. Gerard is board certified in Family Medicine and subsequently received an additional degree of Fellow in Family Medicine in 2001. Dr. Gerard has been practicing medicine for 26 years. She is interested in wellness promotion and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Prior to joining the Piedmont Clinic Dr. Gerard practiced medicine in Setauket, New York. Dr. Gerard was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York from 1990-1994.
