Effingham County High School
Located in Springfield, Ga., the Effingham County High School offers classes from grades nine through 12. It consists of various departments, such as technical education, mathematics, media and technology, English, science, fine arts, social studies, guidance, world languages and health departments. It also consists of councils, bands, chorus and clubs, including broadcast, civil air patrol, physics, drama, tennis, interact, weightlifting and cheerleading clubs. Its counseling department operates a governor s honors program, a six-week summer instructional program that provides educational opportunities. The school s facility consists of a track, stadium, courts, media center and a gym. The Effingham County High School also offers online SAT courses. Its online store features knitted shirts, T-shirts, accessories, ladies clothing and headwear. The school also provides a tutoring program and scholarship schemes.
