Central has been a liberal, progressive Christian church in Atlanta since 1882. As part of the United Church of Christ, we look to the teachings of Jesus for guidance as we seek to foster the emergence of God's realm of justice and peace. We are an Open and Affirming church with a Safe Church practice. Members at Central join with each other as we simultaneously make our journeys as individuals and as a community. Each person is responsible to make their faith their own. We recognize that the Love of God calls us to accomplish things we cannot do alone.
