Our restaurant is cafeteria style. You grab a tray and silverware and pick your meat and veggies. Then, sit back and enjoy the deliciousness. We've actually been cooking for the Ellijay community for over 34 years. The original business began back in 1984 with Sue Davis. It was then called Sue's Log Cabin and was located on Hwy 282/76. Sue moved to River Street in the 90's and changed the name to Sue's River Street Cafe. Fast forward to recent years, and you'll find Sue's eldest daughter, Lisa running the now named, "Double L Restaurant". Lisa and her husband, Lynn, own and operate Double L. They're open from 6:00am til 3:00 pm 6 days a week. We hope you stop in and give us a try! We aim to ensure you feel at home and welcome in a rustic, down to earth environment. The food is ALWAYS excellent and the service top notch! The staff are super friendly and Lisa is the best! Great family feel to this place! Love to visit The Double L whenever I'm in town!
