History
Over the past several years, CMoA has continued the process of formally archiving our collection, while working on exciting plans to share it with a broader audience. We staged temporary pop-up exhibits, LINK - The History of the PC, and The Apple Pop-Up, highlighting both artifacts and stories to bring history to life. The museum was under construction for 2 years while the exhibits were being created and construction took place. Now visitors can see 3 main exhibits- The History of Computing, A Tribute to Apollo 11 and Supercomputing, as well as a few smaller exhibits like The BYTE Wall.

Innovation Past Forward In the past half century, computing has grown from a few gadgets to an almost universal extension of human life. Yet while computing has become commonplace, the history of its innovation is being lost every day, as 'old' technology is discarded, recycled or consigned to the landfill. The Computer Museum of America (CMoA), located in a suburb of Atlanta, GA, was created to preserve this history, and educate visitors on the past and future of computing, empowering the innovators of tomorrow.
