Barnes Termite and Pest Control Company, Inc began in 1978 in Smyrna, Georgia. Today we continue to strive in delivering our esteemed values that the company was originally built on, the most important keeping our customers interest first. With humble beginnings of 2 people and one truck, Barnes Termite and Pest Control has grown to a 1200 loyal customer base in the past four decades.Founder and president, Roy Barnes, has been in the pest control and termite industry since 1965. Working in the pest control industry for over 42 years and now owning his own company has given him continuous knowledge in the most prominent areas in the field today. The company is and will always be a family owned business with two sons, Greg and Scott, working closely with their dad to gain the first hand experience that has provided superior service to our customers over the years. Quality personable service is a family tradition that will continue throughout the next generations.Over the years technology in the field has changed and updated. We make sure that all of our technicians keep up to date with these changes with continued training and ongoing education classes as are required by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Each of our technicians have years of experience in the pest control and termite field. We are members of the Georgia Pest Control Association, Atlanta Pest Control Association and the Certified Pest Control Operators Association of Georgia. These memberships help to keep us up to date on the latest treating methods and in furthering the knowledge of all of our employees. Only chemicals that are approved by the Department of Agriculture as well as the EPA are used for all service methods.
