Super Wheels in Homestead, FL, has been a staple in the South Florida skating scene since its inception in 1977, originally known as the Super Skating Centers. After 23 years under the ownership of Thomas Mitchell, the iconic skating center will close its doors at the end of December 2023, transitioning to new ownership that aims to usher in a new era of roller skating.
As the community prepares for this change, the new owners will take possession on January 1, 2024, and will continue to celebrate the rich history of roller skating in the area. Patrons are encouraged to stay connected for updates on new facilities and events as they unfold throughout South Florida.
