Dr. Scanlan is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (ASAM). He has done over 1,000 detoxes just in the last 2+ years alone. Medical detoxification takes place at Palm Beach Outpatient Detox (P.B.O.D) and most clients can begin detox within hours after contacting us. Our P.B.O.D. Life is a sixty day program that incorporates detox, individual therapy, relapse prevention, medication management, drug testing, and life-skill training. In addition, an individual has a recovery plan tailored to his or her needs and is introduced to the twelve step fellowship with 1:1 step education and selected meetings on the outside.
