Mina Tallat Rizk, DO

Adriana Grau Chaves, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the brain and nervous system, such as epilepsy, headaches, and memory disorders. Dr. Grau Chaves earned her medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Asuncion – Facultad de Medicina, located in Asuncion, Paraguay. She completed an internal medicine residency and a neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. Her clinical training also includes an epilepsy fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and a clinical neurophysiology/EEG fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Grau Chaves’ research focuses on developing therapeutics that improve patient outcomes in epilepsy. She has published her work in medical journals and presented at numerous scientific meetings. Using evidence-based medicine, Dr. Grau Chaves focuses on collaborative, multidisciplinary care to guide patients with chronic neurological conditions on their healthcare journey. Her aim is to educate patients and empower them to take an active role in their health. Dr. Grau Chaves is fluent in English and Spanish. During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, running and beach trips. She also likes to spend time with her family, travel, read novels and do Pilates.

Sheng Fu, M.D., is a board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, specializing in advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, transplant cardiology and mechanical circulatory support. He is certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and advanced heart failure and transplantation. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Fu served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Louisville. Additionally, he served as medical director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Jewish Hospital and as associate medical director of the Department of Heart Transplantation at Jewish Hospital – University of Louisville. Dr. Fu earned his medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio after earning a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. He completed an internal medicine residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His clinical training also includes a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. Dr. Fu has published extensively on heart failure, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. Committed to patient-centered care, Dr. Fu provides education and advocacy for his patients to ensure that their heart health is a shared journey. Dr. Fu is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching movies and trying new restaurants.

Michael Gonzalez Ramos, M.D., is a general surgeon and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in minimally invasive bariatric procedures, as well as gastrointestinal surgery, gallbladder removal, inguinal hernia repair and other general surgery procedures. Dr. Gonzalez-Ramos received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University, Waco, Texas. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, San Juan, where he received the Academic Excellence Award each year for first- through fourth-year medical students. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, and a fellowship in general surgery and minimally invasive bariatric surgery with Baptist Health Medical Group. Dr. Gonzalez-Ramos is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Physicians and the Puerto Rico Society of Surgery Residents.
