Michael E. Gomez, M.D., is a spinal neurosurgeon and the director of minimally invasive spine surgery at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Gomez specializes in spinal surgery, including minimally invasive procedures for degenerative conditions, tumors and spinal deformities. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Betances Hospital-Mayaguez Medical Center in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She also completed a fellowship in cancer genetics at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, Calif. Prior to joining Miami Cancer Institute, Dr. Mártir-Negrón was an attending medical geneticist at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
