Masjid Al-Ansar is one of the oldest mosques in South Florida, serving as a religious center for the Islamic community. Nestled in a church building purchased by Muslims in 1968, it offers Quran reading sessions, Islamic studies classes, and a food pantry to support the local community.
As a member of Mosques Cares, an African-American organization, Masjid Al-Ansar strives to make a difference by providing essential food pantry services every 2nd and 4th of the month. Additionally, the mosque houses the Clara Mohammed School, which aims to foster G-d consciousness, academic excellence, and good moral character in children through a strong teacher, parent, and child relationship.
