Horacio Asbun, M.D., is a surgical oncologist specializing in treating liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, biliary system cancer and pancreatic cancer and diseases. Dr. Kaiser also served as instructor of the Varian Proton Therapy School as well as director of the Integrative Wellness Program at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, which sought to incorporate diet, exercise, acupuncture and emotional support strategies with radiation therapy. Dr. Kaiser is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has led multiple clinical trials and was the first radiation oncologist to lead an NIH-funded ketogenic diet pilot study for patients undergoing active surveillance for prostate cancer. Dr. Kaiser is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
