Established in 1951, Edgewater High School, also known as EHS, provides a range of educational programs and services. It conducts classes in art, English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, and business and physical education. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers guidance counseling services and operates a parent-teacher-student association. Edgewater High School maintains debate, Beta, French and drama clubs. It provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. The school includes a library and media center that offers books, magazines, maps, reference materials and periodicals. Additionally, Edgewater High School provides several sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cross-country, tennis, and track and field. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges and the Florida Department of Education. The school is governed by Orange County Public Schools.
