The Citrus County Road Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining the roadways in Citrus County, Fla. In addition to patching potholes, correcting drainage problems, maintaining bridges and solving other roadway problems, the division provides project support to other county divisions on a regular basis. Major accomplishments by the division include disaster response and relief assistance to various communities and agencies, the implementation of Americans with Disabilities Act required improvements, drainage retrofit improvements and administering the Lime-Rock road-paving program. The division also provides assistance in cleaning up unauthorized dumping areas, including illegal tire disposal sites, and the perpetual cleanup of roadside debris. The Citrus County Road Maintenance Division maintains its operational headquarters in Lecanto, Fla.
